Biography
Sepehr Shokri was a 25-year-old man who was killed on January 8, 2026, in the Piroozi area of Tehran, reportedly by direct fire from security forces in front of his younger brother. His family faced significant pressure, including offers of money from officials, to misrepresent the circumstances of his death, which they firmly refused. A poignant video showing his father searching for his body at the Kahrizak Medical Examiner Center became widely known as "Sepehr Baba, Where are you?". His memorial services were also met with harassment and threats from security forces.
سپهر شکری، مردی ۲۵ ساله، در تاریخ ۱۸ دی ۱۴۰۴ در محله پیروزی تهران با شلیک مستقیم نیروهای امنیتی، در مقابل چشمان برادر کوچکترش کشته شد. خانواده او تحت فشار شدید قرار گرفتند تا دلیل و جزئیات مرگ او را تحریف کنند و حتی وعدههای مالی قابل توجهی نیز به آنها داده شد، اما آنان به شدت این درخواستها را رد کردند. ویدیوی دلخراش جستجوی پدرش برای یافتن پیکر او در مرکز پزشکی قانونی کهریزک، با عنوان «سپهر بابا کجایی؟» به طور گستردهای منتشر و مورد توجه قرار گرفت. مراسم یادبود او نیز با آزار و اذیت و تهدید نیروهای امنیتی همراه بود.
